I don’t often use this technique and I would never count on this ALONE to keep a log on the stump, but this was a good circumstance to employ the technique. Combined with the fact that most of the branches were still on the tree and the uphill slope did not also cause the log to jump it allowed for some EXTRA control and will let the homeowner buck the log from the top down without fear of it r...

I was looking at your bridge setup, can you use those interchangeably on any saddle that allows a bridge? Because I seen you hooked up your Notch Rook pulley and i am thinking of doing a setup like that. I seem Tree Motion has a replacement bridge but I use a weaver cougar saddle

The performance is very impressive; but the price is breathtaking! And I've spent 650.00 on a battery operated saw! I suppose I find the price of admission to be a little excessive; because I don't have any use for a saw in this configuration. But I can see where a climbing arborist would look the other way due to the unparalleled performance.

it's not a true evergreen, because it does loose its leaves, but it happens so fast that it appears like an evergreen. so I think its kinda both? unlike other deciduous oaks, these gradually lose and replace all their leaves annually

The magnificent Pine trees around me don't need you, or your "arborist" buddies, to prune anything whatsoever. Furthermore, the magnificent Pine tree will tower far above you, your "arborist" buddies, and any trees you ever have in your collective lives.

Not a professional but from my understanding On the unicender you don’t need to touch the device to repel. You can just loop the slack end over the top and pull down. Should give you enough friction to stop when you pull or accidentally let go.

Actually got to work with him a few times(Arbor X video). Very laid back and willing to share his knowledge. 😎👊 Thanks for posting up this video. Keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🌲 Randy

Very informative with all the pros and cons of each method! As a hobby climber/arborist who uses DRT I am drooling over a Roper Runner Pro and implementing SRT for when the canopy starts 10+ meters up in the air. My only concern is that my biceps won't be getting the same workouts as with only doing DRT.

So…let’s just start with…trees don’t need to be trimmed. “THEY WILL SELF PRUNE” So this is 99% for looks and the Reason trees are trimmed is that it’s the bread and butter Of arborists and people Want their trees to look a certain way. But if you fall in to those categories - get a real arborist. Not a tree trimmer and not your average run o the mill weekend graduate arborist.

I get what you're saying but you got way too much length in your system so it's hard to take you serious? Put a chainsaw in your hands, then show me if want to convince me? I think the problem is your harness. The rope bridge on the front of your harness is adding unnecessary distance.
